Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is eager to return to England next season amid frustration at a lack of financial backing from Roma, according to Daily Mail.

Mourinho will love to return to Chelsea in the summer and replace Graham Potter as Chelsea boss.

The representatives of Mourinho have reportedly contacted Chelsea about his interest in returning to Chelsea but the Chelsea board have made it clear they intend to stand by Graham Potter. 

Mourinho’s wife and children still live in London and he has always preferred working in the Premier League to elsewhere.

Mourinho won the Europa Conference League at Roma last season and they are currently fifth in Serie A, but Roma lack the resources to fight for the title.
