Chelsea’s interest in signing Ecuador international midfielder Moises Caicedo is 100% confirmed and the Blues are still speaking with his agents despite having a £55million bid rejected by Brighton.

This is according to reliable transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who insists Chelsea have remained in talks with Caicedo’s representatives despite failing with an opening bid.

Romano told GiveMeSport: “They’re still having conversations with the agents and already spoke to Brighton a few days ago.

“The interest of Chelsea is 100% confirmed in Caicedo.”

Premier League rivals Arsenal are also in the race for Caicedo and have had a £60million offer for the midfielder rejected by Brighton.
