Jose Mourinho reportedly wants Roma to sign Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech as they prepare for the likely departure of Nicolo Zaniolo, according to Gianluca Di Marzio via Metro.

Chelsea are reportedly asking for €20million for the transfer of Ziyech to Roma and have also been in contact with Roma’s Serie A rivals AC Milan over a deal.

Ziyech, 29, helped Ajax win the Eredivisie title and reach the Champions League semi-finals but has failed to produce his top form since joining Chelsea in 2020 for £33million.

While Ziyech has underwhelmed at Chelsea, he impressed during the Qatar World Cup to help Morocco become the first African nation to reach the semi-finals.
