According to Fabrice Hawkins of RMC Sport, Chelsea have reached an agreement with Lyon for the transfer of 19 year old right-back Malo Gusto.

However, Gusto will spend the rest of the season on loan with Lyon and join his new Chelsea teammates in the summer ahead of next season.

Gusto is set to become Chelsea’s seventh January signing following the arrivals of Joao Felix, David Fofana, Andrey Santos, Benoit Badiashile, Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke.

The latest development comes after Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas said the player will remain at the club.

Lyon rejected a £17.6million offer from Chelsea for Gusto before both clubs reached an agreement for the right-back.
