Chelsea ready hijack yet another transfer deal as Blues eye move for club record signing

Chelsea are ready to hijack yet another transfer deal as the Blues eye move for a Liverpool top transfer target.

According to Daily Mail, Chelsea have added Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes to the club’s list of transfer targets and are ready battle Liverpool for his signature.

Chelsea beat Arsenal to the transfer of Mykhailo Mudryk earlier this month and are ready to do same to Liverpool for the transfer of Nunes.

Wolves paid a club-record £38m transfer fee for Nunes back in August, but the 24-year-old may not last a year at Molineux.

Despite Wolves’ struggles this season Nunes has been a standout performer in the middle of the park.

Nunes, capped 11 times by his country, has been a regular in Wolves starting line-up, and has done enough to catch the attention of Chelsea.
