Brentford goalkeeper David Raya has rejected a new contract offer from the Premier League side amid interest from Chelsea, according to The Sun.

Raya’s contract expires in the summer of 2024 and Brentford are keen on extending his contract to avoid losing him as a free agent in the summer of 2024.

Premier League rivals Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are also reportedly interested in signing the 27 year old goalkeeper.

Should Raya continue to opt against signing a new contract, Brentford might be forced ro cash in on him in the summer.

Raya joined Brentford from Blackburn for £3million back in 2019. He has gone on to play 143 games for the club, conceding 144 goals and keeping 49 clean sheets.
