Chelsea wanted to sell Christian Pulisic in the January transfer window following the arrival of Mykhailo Mudryk, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed.
An injury to the American international has made a January exit impossible but the 24 year old is set to leave Chelsea in the summer.
Pulisic picked up a knee problem in the Premier League defeat to Manchester City earlier this month.
Pulisic has struggled to nail down a starting spot ever since his move to the Blues from Borussia Dortmund in 2019.
Romano explained on the House of Champions podcast that Pulisic would have been sold this January following the arrival of Mykhailo Mudryk but his knee injury put an end to the club’s plan of offloading the winger.
