Former West Ham striker Frank McAvennie has urged Chelsea to sell Raheem Sterling next summer.
Sterling only joined Chelsea from Manchester City last summer for £50million, signing a five year contract.
McAvennie told Football Insider: “He does not look like the Raheem Sterling of old.
“I do not know whether that is because he has got too much money, too many moves, he has lost the love of football.
“I do not know what it is but he just does not look like the player who burst onto the scene all those years ago.
“He has had some big, big moves. I just do not see the love of football in him anymore. He used to chase balls for fun. He does not do that now.
“I would not be happy if he was at my club and not putting the effort in. I think it is a good move if he goes. I think they have got to get rid of him, he is dead wood for me.“
