
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are still in talks with Lyon for the transfer of 19 year old right-back Malo Gusto despite having an opening offer rejected.
The Blues are keen on signing Gusto to provide competition for Reece James at right-back, who has struggled with injuries thos season.
Chelsea have already agreed personal terms with Gusto and just need to agree a fee with Lyon for the transfer of the 19 year old right-back.
Romano tweeted: “Chelsea will push again for Malo Gusto this week. Talks are ongoing after opening bid rejected, OL want to keep the right back but Chelsea are not giving up.
“Personal terms have been agreed as revealed yesterday, as Malo Gusto dreams of Premier League football.”
