Chelsea are in the market to sign at least one new midfielder before the transfer window shuts.
The Blues have already had bids rejected for Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez and Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo.
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea will make an offer for Fernandez or Caicedo before the transfer window closes. The Blues are also reportedly considering submitting bids for both players.
Benfica are braced for a new bid for Fernandez, who Chelsea made an initial offer worth £70million for. The Argentine’s contract contains a £106m release clause.
Brighton are reportedly demanding around £75million for the transfer of Caicedo after rejecting a £55million offer from Chelsea.
