Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech will push to leave Chelsea in the January transfer window, according to Simon Phillips.
Premier League side Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing the 29 year old Moroccan international. Italian side AC Milan are also interested.
Phillips also disclosed that ‘no solid offers’ have arrived for Ziyech but that he will probably have to lower his wage demands in order to secure a move.
Phillips told GiveMeSport: “No solid offers have come in; no solid inquiries have even come in for Ziyech.
“He’s had interest from Ajax who would take him back but not right now, and AC Milan who have other priorities ahead of him, so I just don’t know.
I can’t see where he’s going to go right now, but he is another one that will probably push to leave in this window, and if he’s going to do that, he’s going to have to lower his wage demands.”
