Chelsea midfielder Jorginho is set to leave the club at the end of the season amid interest from Spanish side Barcelona.

Jorginho’s Chelsea contract expires at the end of the season and according to Evening Standard, Chelsea won’t offer the Italian international a new contract and are willing to let him leave.

Barcelona and former club Napoli are favourites to sign Jorginho when he becomes a free agent at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, according to The Telegraph, Chelsea are plotting to sign a big-money midfielder in January or the summer and have forged a five-man transfer shortlist.

The five midfielders in the Chelsea shortlist are Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez, Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo, West Ham midfielder Declan Rice and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.
