Despite already spending £140million on new players this month, Chelsea are still reportedly ready to splash the cash and sign new players this January.

The Blues announced the signing of Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk on Sunday. Benoit Badiashile, Joao Felix, David Datro Fofana and Andrey Santos have already joined the club this January.

According to Daily Mail, Chelsea are now considering moves for Brighton pair Moises Caicedo and Leandro Trossard.

Trossard’s contract expires at the end of the season, though the Seagulls are understood to have a an option to extend his contract by 12 months.

Caicedo won’t come cheap as he has three years left to run on his current contract, but Chelsea have earmarked him as a possible replacement for long-term injury absentee N’Golo Kante.

Trossard was part of Belgium’s World Cup squad while Caicedo was part of Ecuador’s World Cup squad.
