Chelsea have confirmed the signing of 22 year old Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk for a fee of around €100million.
Mudryk underwent his Chelsea medical on Sunday after Chelsea reached an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk on Saturday and was presented to fans at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
According to The Independent, Mudryk will earn £100,000-a-week at Chelsea, double the £50,000-a-week wages he was offered by Arsenal.
That is more than what wide players Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka get paid at Arsenal.
According to Spotrac, Brazil international forward Martinelli is on £90,000 per week as salary at the Gunners, while England international star Saka gets £70,000 per week.
Mudryk made 12 appearances in the Ukrainian Premier League this season scoring seven goals, and has earned eight caps for his country since making his debut last year.
