Danny Murphy has hailed new Chelsea signing Joao Felix as a magical talent and insists the Portugal international is better than Chelsea trio Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz.

Chelsea confirmed the signing of Felix on loan for the rest of the season from Spanish side Atletico Madrid.

“If you take away the money side of it for a minute, the way I look at it is I would have Joao Felix over Hakim Ziyech, I would have him over Christian Pulisic and I would have him over Kai Havertz,” Murphy told talkSPORT.

“Felix and Havertz are quite similar so maybe that one would be a debate. But Felix will improve their options in the wide areas.

“He will keep the ball, go past players, he’s got beautiful technique, he’s strong, he’s got magical talent.”
