Former Arsenal and Chelsea star Emmanuel Petit believes Arsenal should walk away from a deal for Mykhailo Mudryk if Chelsea drive the price up too high.
The Gunners have been keen on signing the Ukraine international but Shakhtar Donetsk wants £85million for the winger.
Speaking to Compare.Bet, Petit said: “Don’t be drawn into a bidding war with Chelsea.
“If Chelsea want to splash £100million on him, Arsenal should let him go.
“But I’m not sure that’s the desire of Mudryk. I’ve been told he wants to come to Arsenal, reuniting as a pair with [Oleksandr] Zinchenko.”
