Ray Parlour has slammed Chelsea’s struggling striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and believes the striker just doesn’t look like he’s interested in being at Chelsea.
Aubameyang suffered the ignominy of being hauled off midway through the second half in the 1-0 defeat to Manchester City after being brought on as a substitute in the first-half.
Paulour told talkSPORT: “He just doesn’t look like he’s interested. That’s the big problem you have.
“Since the likes of Drogba going back many years, Hasselbaink, players like that for Chelsea, proper numbers nines who have they had. Lukaku?
“Whether it’s the way they play and it’s not ideal for them but certainly they are really struggling for a real goalscorer.
“I would look at a striker more for Chelsea (in terms of new signings). Aubameyang came on he doesn’t look the same player for me he doesn’t look like he’s enjoying his football, he didn’t make any runs and wasn’t really in the game.”
