Chelsea struggled to secure a 1-1 draw against relegation threatened Nottingham Forest.
Despite dominating possession against Nottingham Forest, Chelsea struggled to create good goalscoring chances.
Explaining why Chelsea struggled against Nottingham Forest, Chelsea boss Graham Potter BBC Match of the Day: “It was overall below par for us.
“You have to credit Forest, they did what they did well. We didn’t do well enough when we had control.
“Not easy to create against Forest because they can defend deep and attack spaces well. We can improve that.
“We suffered in the second half so in the end it’s a performance we’re not happy with, we have to accept the point but we are disappointed.
“It’s always disappointing to concede how we did, watching the game we weren’t in control at that point anyway.
“As much as I’m disappointed with the goal that’s not the reason we dropped points, our overall performance wasn’t good. We have to be honest and try to improve.
“The substitutes came on and helped us. [Mateo] Kovacic gave us more control in midfield and Hakim [Ziyech] had some good contributions.
“Performances from subs was positive, [Conor] Gallagher was unlucky with the chance so there were some things but we’re disappointed.”
I don’t see Chelsea going anywhere with this kind of play Potter brought.
The earlier the better.
Sacking Tuchel is one of the greatest mistake the new Chelsea owner has committed.
Potter there’s nothing we can hear from you, in fact we never had such kind of coach who crying now and then that injuries causes the downfalls of the club, my question is should premier League stand until you get full squad fit or what should FIFA do in order to allow you winning, do you know that tuchel was able to win the match without many players? Why every game you came up with silly excuses whereby we know that you are not capable enough to deliver in Chelsea, you’re tooo small tactically, how on earth you can use mount in deep midfield and you him is more effective when he’s near the opponent box? (2)Who told you that Zakaria is an offensive midfield you used him there Zakaria is a holding midfielder (3) what was the work of full backs and how do you want to win the match if full backs are active driving balls upfront…..my opinion is to urge boerly and the staff to look for a better coach who can help the club potter is not a chelsea type he’s too small to the club
