Spanish club Barcelona are confident of beating Chelsea to the transfer of Borussia Dortmund forward Youssofa Moukoko, according to Spanish media outlet Sport via Goal.

Moukoko, who was part of Germany’s World Cup squad, is in the final year of his Borussia Dortmund contract and has recently rejected BVB’s contract renewal offer worth €5 million.

The 18 year old is attracting interest from Chelsea, Barcelona and Manchester United and it is believed the Borussia Dortmund star is keen on a move to Barcelona.

Meanwhile, according to French media outlet L’Equipe, Barcelona are urging Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile to snub a January transfer to Chelsea.

The Catalan club are hoping the defender chooses to wait until next summer before making a move to a top European club.

Barcelona are interested in signing the 21 year old defender but won’t be able to make any signings during the January transfer window due to financial issues.

Chelsea are pushing to sign Badiashile in January and have already submitted a bid in the region of £35million for the 21 year old centre-back.
