Chelsea are ‘willing to do anything’ to sign the AC Milan star Rafael Leão, according to Sportitalia via Sport Witness.

Leao’s £28,000-a-week AC Milan contract expires in 2024 and the Italian side are keen on extending the contract of the 23 year old Portugal international.

Despite AC Milan’s desire to extend the contract of Leao, Chelsea are reportedly willing to do anything to convince the Portugal World Cup star to make the move to Stamford Bridge.

If AC Milan are unable to convince Leao to sign a new contract before the summer of 2023, the Italian side will be forced to sell the winger as he will have just one year left on his contract.

Meanwhile, former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has urged Chelsea to sign Spain World Cup star Dani Olmo.

The RB Leipzig attacker started every game for Spain at the World Cup (4 games), scoring once and providing one assist.

During a Q&A, Fabregas was asked the Spanish player he would sign for Chelsea if money wasn’t the problem.

Fabregas responded: “Dani Olmo could be a great addition if Chelsea continues to play in this system.”
