Chelsea have submitted a bid for 21 year old Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The Blues are reportedly in advanced talks with Monaco to sign the France international ahead of the January transfer window.

Chelsea have reportedly submitted a bid of around €35million for the Monaco defender and talks are reportedly ongoing between both clubs.

Meanwhile, Ivory Coast striker David Datro Fofana has completed his Chelsea medical ahead of a move to Stamford Bridge in January, according to Standard Sport.

The 20 year old striker completed his Chelsea medical on Thursday and will make the move to Chelsea in January after an £8.6million fee was agreed with Norwegian club Molde.

Chelsea’s renewed focus on youth under new owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali has already seen Carney Chukwuemeka arrive from Aston Villa and Cesare Casadei recruited from Inter Milan.

Promising goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina has come on board from Chicago Fire, with forward Omari Hutchinson lured from Arsenal too.

Fofana has netted 19 goals in 34 appearances for Molde in 2022, and will now be itching to make his mark in west London.
