Premier League rivals Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are set to battle Chelsea for the transfer of Inter Milan centre-back Milan Skriniar, according to Teamtalk.
French champions Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in signing the 27 year old centre-back.
The 27 year old Inter Milan defender is reportedly not satisfied with his current contract in Italy and could leave the club for free at the end of the season amid interest from Chelsea.
With Kalidou Koulibaly struggling to impress at Chelsea since joining from Napoli and Wesley Fofana struggling with injuries, the Blues are eyeing to sign a centre-back next summer.
Meanwhile, according to According to a report from La Repubblica, Kalidou Koulibaly might head back to the Serie A to join Inter Milan as replacement for Skriniar who has been linked with a move to Chelsea.
The Nerazzurri are well aware of the possibility of Milan Skriniar’s departure. As such, they want to be prepared and bring in a world-class centre-back.
Koulibaly signed for Chelsea last summer, but hasn’t hit the ground running immediately. The Senegalese could be tempted to return to a familiar league.
