CBS reporter and transfer expert Ben Jacobs has confirmed Chelsea’s interest in signing Juventus forward and Serbian international Dusan Vlahovic in January.

During a Q&A session, Jacobs was asked if Chelsea is interested in signing Vlahovic or a new centre-back in January, he responded:

“Yes, Vlahovic is of interest. One of a few they are looking at. January tough but not impossible. Feeling is a summer move will be more realistic for suitors.

“Centre-back I don’t think is as likely in January. Forward, midfielder and possibly a versatile defender. But former two positions most key.”

Meanwhile, former Chelsea right-back Glen Johnson has urged Christian Pulisic to stay and fight for his place under Graham Potter.

“I want Chelsea to keep Christian Pulisic, he shouldn’t leave for Manchester United,” Johnson told Midnite.

“I have defended him for a long time and said he has so much potential, but now he needs to prove it.

“He still has loads to give, give him one more serious season, but if we’re having the same conversations this time next year, he has to go.”
