Chelsea are reportedly keen on moves for Serie A duo Weston McKennie and Dusan Vlahovic.
According to CalcioMercato via Evening Standard, Chelsea boss Graham Potter is pushing for the signing of McKennie, who would likely cost in the region of €30million.
Strengthening Chelsea’s midfield is a priority for Potter with the contracts of N’Golo Kante and Jorginho expiring at the end of the season.
Vlahovic, meanwhile, continues to be linked with a move away from Juventus, just 12 months after joining the Italian side.
Chelsea have already made contact with the agent of 22 year old Juventus striker Vlahovic, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
There’s a “very real possibility” that the centre-forward may leave Juventus in 2023, with a January exit not completely off the table.
Juventus are open to the idea of cashing in on the Serbia international due to their own financial problems.
Ben Jacobs tweeted:”Told there is a very real possibility Dusan Vlahovic will leave Juventus in 2023. A January exit is not being ruled out by those close to him.
“Several top European clubs are in touch with his agent, including Chelsea, although nothing particularly advanced at this point.
“Juve are open to cashing in knowing Champions League football is by no means guaranteed next season and they may face sporting sanctions due to an ongoing investigation into alleged false accounting… January now not impossible, although Vlahovic is dealing with a groin injury. This has been a persistent problem for him.”
