Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos is ready to join Chelsea, according to media outlet TalkSPORT.

The 18 year old Vasco da Gama midfielder has attracted interest from several clubs but Chelsea are believed to have won the race to sign the Brazilian wonderkid.

The Times have also revealed Chelsea are leading the race to sign Santos from Brazilian club Vasco da Gama.

Liverpool, Manchester City and Newcastle United are also interested in signing the Vasco da Gama midfielder but the Blues are favourites to sign the Brazilian.

Santos has made a big impression in his first full season with the senior team, making 36 appearances in all competitions, scoring eight goals and winning four Brazil Under-20 caps.

The 18 year old Brazilian has thrived as a ball-winning central midfielder who can break up attacks.
