Chelsea have already made contact with the agent of 22 year old Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to journalist Ben Jacob.
There’s a “very real possibility” that the centre-forward may leave Juventus in 2023, with a January exit not completely off the table.
Juventus are open to the idea of cashing in on the Serbia international due to their own financial problems.
Ben Jacobs tweeted:”Told there is a very real possibility Dusan Vlahovic will leave Juventus in 2023. A January exit is not being ruled out by those close to him.
“Several top European clubs are in touch with his agent, including Chelsea, although nothing particularly advanced at this point.
“Juve are open to cashing in knowing Champions League football is by no means guaranteed next season and they may face sporting sanctions due to an ongoing investigation into alleged false accounting… January now not impossible, although Vlahovic is dealing with a groin injury. This has been a persistent problem for him.”
Vlahovic joined Juventus from Fiorentina in January for £67million and has scored 16 goals in 36 Juventus appearances during his opening 12 months with the Italian side.
