Chelsea will hold contract talks with Jorginho before Christmas as the Blues look to tie him down to a new contract, according to CaughtOffside.

The report adds a meeting has been scheduled between Chelsea and the representatives of Jorginho.

Jorginho’s Chelsea contract expires at the end of the season and the 30 year old Italian international is attracting interest from Spanish side Barcelona, who have identified him as the ideal replacement for Sergio Busquets.

Barcelona are keen on signing Jorginho as a free agent at the end of the season as replacement for Busquets who will leave the Spanish side at the end of the season.

Italian side Juventus are also interested in signing Jorginho as a free agent at the end of the season, according to Todofichajes.

Juventus have long shown interest in signing Jorginho and are eager to finally sign the 30 year old midfielder as a free agent next summer.
