Chelsea are in advanced talks to sign Germany World Cup star Youssoufa Moukoko in January, according to The Sun.

The 18 year old Borussia Dortmund forward will become a free agent at the end of the season and the Blues are keen on signing the forward who has been tipped to become a world-class player.

Chelsea are preparing a free move for the summer but the Blues could also try and get him to Stamford Bridge by January.

Moukoko became the youngest player to represent Germany last month when he came off the bench during his country’s shock World Cup loss to Japan.

Moukoko has registered six goals and three assists from 14 league appearances for Borussia Dortmund this season.

Chelsea have turned attention to signing Moukoko after missing out on Palmeiras teenager Endrick, according to The Express.

Since Todd Boehly’s arrival at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea’s transfer vision has changed significantly. The club have been taking a deeper interest in signing players for the future whilst ensuring that the squad for the ‘now’ is capable of challenging for trophies.

The Blues were keen on signing 16 year old Brazilian attacker Endrick but have now lost out to Spanish side Real Madrid.

The Blues have now opened talks with the representatives of Moukoko about the prospect of signing the teenage sensation ahead of the January transfer window.
