Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix in January.

The 23-year-old forward cost €126million (£108m) when he moved from Benfica to the Spanish capital in the summer of 2019 but he has struggled to live up to that price tag.

According to Spanish media outlet AS via Metro, Atletico Madrid are prepared to cut their losses and sell Felix to Chelsea in January for €100m (£86m).

The Spanish side are prepared to accept a package that includes a significant amount of bonuses and add-ons in order to reach that figure

The relationship between Felix and Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone is described as ‘broken’ and the Portugal international is keen on leaving the Spanish side in January.

Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are also reportedly interested in signing the 23 year old.
