Chelsea are favourites to sign RB Leipzig star Josko Gvardiol, according to a report on Tribal Football.

The 21-year-old Croatia international, who can play left-back or centre-half, is currently on World Cup duty.

Chelsea reportedly have a good relationship with the German club following the return of Timo Werner to RB Leipzig last summer and are keen to utilise that relationship to sign Gvardiol.

Juventus, Barcelona, Liverpool and Manchester City have also been linked with a move for the 21 year old defender.

The report also adds that Juventus are ready to end their interest as they are “unlikely” to even be able to “fight” against Chelsea for his signing.
