Chelsea scouts are watching Canada international striker Jonathan David at the World Cup, according to transfer expert Ekrem Konur.

Scouts from Premier League rivals Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Arsenal are also scouting the 22 year old striker. German champions Bayern Munich have also sent scouts to watch the striker.

David has caught the eye with his exploits since leaving Gent for France in 2020, scoring 41 goals in 111 Lille appearances. The 22-year-old attacker has registered nine goals and three assists in 15 Ligue 1 games this season, garnering heavyweight interest.

Despite all the interest in David, the Canada interest is yet to showcase his true potential at the World Cup. Across two games at the World Cup, David has had 70 touches and one shot on target.

David is said to be available for £43million in January.
