Brighton defender Joel Veltman has named Chelsea transfer target and Brentford striker Ivan Toney as the toughest opponent he played against last year.
“I think he is the toughest opponent from last year that I played against,” Brighton defender Joel Veltman said last month when discussing Toney. “He is strong, tall, good on the ball.
“Normally, tall strikers don’t have the proper technique, but he does. I love to play against him.”
The £50million Brentford striker has been in fantastic form this term, scoring 10 goals in 14 Premier League outings, which includes a brace against Manchester City just before the start of the World Cup.
