Former Inter president Massimo Moratti is unimpressed with the return of Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan on loan from Chelsea.
The 29-year-old Belgian striker has only made five Nerazzurri appearances this season since returning on an €8m loan deal from Chelsea, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
Lukaku has mostly been sidelined this season with a hamstring injury, an issue that forced him to miss Belgian’s World Cup opener against Canada.
Speaking on Gianluca Rossi’s YouTube channel, Moratti said as per Football Italia: “We almost forgot the fact that Inter are doing without the player they had based everything on, Lukaku. A big rip-off, he has practically never played.”
