According to Italian media outlet Calciomercato, Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is willing to pay Adrien Rabiot’s wage demands.

Rabiot currently earns £6million a year at Juventus and with his contract expiring at the end of the season, he is open to joining the Blues as a free agent if he is offered an £8million a year contract.

Chelsea boss Graham Potter has reportedly given his green light to the transfer as he is keen on revamping Chelsea’s midfield options.

Meanwhile, Chelsea forward Hakim Ziyech is close to sealing a loan move to Serie A champions AC Milan, according to 90min.

AC Milan were interested in signing the Chelsea forward during the summer transfer window but opted to sign Belgian Charles De Ketelaere for a fee of around €32million instead.

AC Milan still remain interested in signing Ziyech and are now reportedly close to sealing a loan move for the Chelsea star ahead of the January transfer window.

Ziyech is keen on leaving Chelsea in January with the Moroccan international only starting once for Graham Potter, the Carabao Cup defeat to Manchester City.
