Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez has confirmed he has spoken to the father of Chelsea transfer target Endrick about a move to Barcelona for the Brazilian teenager.

“We’ve been talking with Endrick’s father and also with the player. I explained them the project. We want him, he’s a top talent,” Xavi told ESPN.

“Endrick is the kind of player we need. I hope he joins Barça. It’s up to him to decide.”

Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are also interested in signing the Brazilian forward.
