Chelsea forward Hakim Ziyech is close to sealing a loan move to Serie A champions AC Milan, according to 90min.
AC Milan were interested in signing the Chelsea forward during the summer transfer window but opted to sign Belgian Charles De Ketelaere for a fee of around €32million instead.
AC Milan still remain interested in signing Ziyech and are now reportedly close to sealing a loan move for the Chelsea star ahead of the January transfer window.
Ziyech is keen on leaving Chelsea in January with the Moroccan international only starting once for Graham Potter, the Carabao Cup defeat to Manchester City.
Ziyech refused to rule out a Chelsea exit in January after Morocco’s goalless draw against Croatia in the World Cup.
“It’s hard to say,” he told NOS. “We don’t know what will happen in the winter.
“It’s football, so it’s difficult to say.”
