Chelsea boss Graham Potter has to make a decision about Callum Hudson-Odoi’s loan deal at Bayer Leverkusen before Christmas, according to German outlet Kicker via Sport Witness.

Hudson-Odoi has a recall clause in his loan deal to Bayer Leverkusen which expires on Christmas day and Chelsea boss Potter must make a decision before Christmas if he wants the winger back at Stamford Bridge for the second part of the season.

Hudson Odoi joined the German side on loan in the summer in search of regular playing time, which wasn’t on offer under Thomas Tuchel at the time.

He’s been a regular for the Bundesliga side since, with 15 appearances in all competitions so far and a goal and an assist to his name.
