Chelsea are set to return to Abu Dhabi, the scene of coronation as world champions, during the World Cup break to take on Premier League side Aston Villa.

The date for this desert oasis of club football during next month is Sunday 11 December with kick-off at 6.10pm local time (2.10pm UK time).

Chelsea players not involved in the World Cup will take on Unai Emery’s Aston Villa side and the game will be shown on the official Chelsea website.
