Chelsea star slammed for touching the ball just twice in World Cup game

John Hartson slammed Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech for his second-half performance in Morocco’s goalless draw against Croatia at the World Cup.

Ziyech impressed in the first-half for Morocco, with Hartson complementing the 29 year old while commenting on Morocco’s match against Croatia for ITV.

“Ziyech looks really sharp. You want to get the ball to those players who are really feeling themselves in the game.”

This sentiment soon faded away, however, following Ziyech’s second-half performance for Morocco.

“I’ve not seen him in the second-half. He’s hardly touched the ball,” remarked Hartson on his previously-appraised Ziyech.

“Did you notice that I said to you earlier on that Ziyech had gone off? I’ve just not seen him, I think he’s touched the ball twice.”
