According to media outlet Relevo, Chelsea have made contact with super-agent Jorge Mendes over the transfer of Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa.
The report adds that the Portugal international has a €75million release clause, so it could be that we’ll see Chelsea spend big money on a goalkeeper again after spending a record fee to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Chelsea boss Graham Potter wants an upgrade on Kepa and Edouard Mendy and the Blues have now identified Costa as the ideal signing.
Premier League rivals Manchester United are also interested in signing the Porto goalkeeper.
