Chelsea and Premier League rivals Arsenal are in a battle to sign 25 year old Brazilian winger Pepe, according to CaughtOffside.

The FC Porto winger has a release clause of €75million but the Blues and Arsenal are trying to negotiate his price tag down in order to get deal down.

Pepe is a versatile player who is capable of playing in either wings and even filling in as a full-back or wing-back at points.

With Chelsea struggling in attack this season, Chelsea boss Graham Potter is keen on revamping his attacking options in January.
