According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are currently in talks to sign Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia.
The Blues tried to sign the 18-year-old Belgium midfielder in the summer but were not able to convince the Saints to sell in the end.
Despite Lavia only joining Southampton from Manchester City in July, Romano revealed that Chelsea made a £50m offer for him on deadline day.
Despite pushing to sign the midfielder in the summer, Romano has revealed there are no negotiations going on right now between Chelsea and Southampton for Lavia.
Speaking to Givemesport, Romano said: “I’m curious to see if they will return for Romeo Lavia or not because, honestly, the reality now is that there are no negotiations. There are no talks between Southampton and Chelsea for Romeo Lavia.”
