Chelsea star Mason Mount is set to start for England in their World Cup opener against Iran, according to The Telegraph.

Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling is also expected to start for England against Iran while Conor Gallagher will make do with a place on the bench.

The report claims England boss Gareth Southgate has opted to start with a 4-2-3-1 formation with Bukayo Saka, Mason Mount and Raheem Sterling playing behind Harry Kane.
