Chelsea transfer target Jude Bellingham has been hailed as a future England captain and the best midfielder in the World Cup.

The Blues are keen on signing the 19 year old Borussia Dortmund midfielder but face stiff opposition from Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool.

“I was a kid who didn’t play in the Premier League. Jude is an exception I’d say. He’s played Champions League at such young age. He’s been exposed,” Theo Walcott said.

“I think he’s a future captain as well, I know they’ll be a bit of competition between him and Declan Rice,” continued Walcott.

“To be honest, I think we’ve got two of the best midfielders going into this tournament.”
