Chelsea boss Graham Potter isn’t interested in signing 37 year old Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo, according to Daily Mail.
Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly was keen on signing Ronaldo during the summer transfer window but former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel wasn’t keen on having the Portuguese forward in his squad.
Boehly reportedly still remains interested in signing Ronaldo but Potter is understood to be as ‘equally unenthused’ as Tuchel at the prospect of having Ronaldo in his Chelsea squad.
Manchester United are now considering the option of terminating Ronaldo’s contract, which still has seven months to run and is worth in excess of £500,000 a week after the Portuguese forward hit out at Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag and the Manchester United board.
