Former Premier League star Jermaine Pennant has revealed Chelsea won’t finish in the top four this season because Jermaine Pennant doesn’t know his best starting XI and best formation.

“No Champions League for Chelsea, because Graham Potter doesn’t know what team he’s playing every week,” Pennant said on talkSPORT.

“Potter doesn’t know his best formation yet, and he’s not going to find that out any time soon,” he added.

On his top four predictions Pennant said: “Champions: Manchester City. Runners-up: Arsenal. Third place: Liverpool. Fourth place: Newcastle United.”

Chelsea are currently 8th in the Premier League, 8 points behind 4th-place Tottenham Hotspur.
