Chelsea are keen on signing Napoli attacker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia but a move in January looks unlikely, according to transfer reporter Dean Jones.
Jones believes the exciting Napoli attacker is an upgrade on the likes of Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech.
Kvaratskhelia’s agent Christian Emile recently told transfer expert Fabrizio Romano that his client could cost €100m (around £88m) when he leaves Napoli.
Jones told Givemesport: “I think he would be an upgrade on those players. I’m not convinced that they will get him. The player is going to have a huge fee put on his head.
“Certainly, I think he’ll be priced out of a move in January. I don’t think they want to sell him then. I can’t see it happening. That’s what I’ve been told.”
Since joining Napoli from Dinamo Batumi back in July, the Georgia international has registered 8 goals and 8 assists in 17 appearances.
