Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher believes Chelsea have gone backwards despite spending £275million in the summer.

Chelsea are winless in our last five Premier League games following Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Newcastle United. The Blues dropped to eight in the league following the defeat at Newcastle United.

Carragher tweeted: “Eddie Howe is getting more from his players than any other manager in the PL (Premier League). 

“While you can’t believe Chelsea spent £275m in the summer, on a team that was very good in the last couple of year.”
