Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek has revealed his best position is as a midfielder after being used by Graham Potter and also former boss Thomas Tuchel as a wing-back.

“I am comfortable anywhere on the pitch,” Loftus-Cheek told Sky Sports, “but I have always been a centre-midfielder.

“I can affect the game with my physicality most there, when I am able to get up and down in both boxes.”
