Chelsea boss Graham Potter has explained why Raheem Sterling isn’t part of the matchday squad for the Premier League game against Newcastle United.

“Raheem missed training yesterday with a bit of sickness,” Potter revealed.

“It’s nothing serious for Raheem, some migraines and he was unable to travel.”

Potter also revealed Marc Cucurella was unwell overnight which is why he is on the bench against Newcastle United.
